Pressure and power washing, using highly pressurized water, forcefully removes dirt, grime, stains, build-up, and anything it comes in contact with. This is very effective for cleaning hard surfaces, however there are risks involved if you pressure wash the wrong surface.
On the other hand, soft washing is great for siding and roofs because it uses a combination of safe soaps, chemicals, and surfactants to help break down and clean grime/build-up.
Yes. When a car is black, has black interior, or if you are wearing black, it will feel warmer in the sun. This is because black absorbs more heat than any other color. Your black roofing panels/tiles will thus absorb more heat during the hot, summer months, resulting in warmer temperatures inside of your home. You can most definitely save on energy costs if your roof is clean, without black streaks or areas.
We will come and take a look and the severity of the growth on your roof will determine how we will treat it. We apply our solution on the surface of your roof with low pressure, (40-70 psi) allowing our algaecide and surfactants to dwell and eradicate all traces of organic growth. Depending on the type of roof, we will rinse accordingly if needed.
Yes! All of these can immensely damage your roof but especially algae. Algae is the prime reason for roof failure and your roof can lose up to 50% of its longevity. Divots will form when lichen and moss contaminate your roof. They can deteriorate the protective layer of your roof’s shingle granules.
Although our solution is made to kill plant systems, like algae, lichen, and moss, we protect your plants by keeping them wet and moist throughout our cleaning process. We are trained and place high priority on keeping your plants alive and thriving.
This cannot be answered directly. The amount of time a cleaning takes depends on the size of your home and severity of algae growth. After we take a look at your property, we will be able to give you an estimated timeframe
Yes! Please ensure that all windows and doors are shut and that all pets are safely placed inside or in their respective kennels. Also, park vehicles in the garage or away from your home to ensure that no over-spray will collect on your vehicle. If you have any potted plants, please place them inside of your garage or home.
Yes, we will use your water in this process. (If this is an issue, please let us know ahead of time so we can work something out on our end. We will have to bring water and this will increase the cost. If you have water problems or a well that is shallow, please also let us know.) We will need access to an exterior water spigot, so please make sure that they are working properly.

If the rain is light, we can still work. However, we do not work in heavy rainfall.. If this happens, we will reschedule your cleaning on a date that is convenient for you.
Generally, roof cleaning lasts up to 3 years, depending on a few factors, such as: humidity, tree coverage, rainfall, and type of roof you have. If streaking or dark areas reappear before the 1-year mark, we will return and take care of it for you.
